ANN’s protection of Anime Expo 2024 sponsored by Yen Press and Ize Press!
The CloverWorks Business Panel at Anime Expo teased Grotesque, a brand new animation movie from director Atsushi Nishigori (The IDOLM@STER, DARLING in the FRANXX) and the anime studio CloverWorks, on Thursday. The panel premiered a brief teaser video and promised that extra movies and particulars might be posted later.
The movie comes from JOEN, the corporate collectively established by Sony media subsidiary Aniplex, its CloverWorks animation studio, Production I.G sister firm Wit Studio, and writer Shueisha. CloverWorks producer Yūichi Fukushima and Wit Studio producer Tetsuya Nakatake are the consultant administrators of JOEN.
