The preview and main staff for Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Disturbance (Season 2) episode 3 were revealed on Tuesday. The new episode “The Abandoned Village” will be released on Thursday, October 17. Studio LIDENFILMS is handling the animation production while Crunchyroll is streaming the anime. Check out the preview below:

Episode 3 synopsis:
A girl he meets in the forest, Makimachi Misao, says she has come from Kyoto in search of Aoshi and the other Hidden Guardians. Kenshin is surprised when he hears the names of Aoshi and the others. Seeing his reaction, Misao asks him where Aoshi is, but Kenshin stubbornly refuses to tell her. However, he is gradually moved by Misao’s feelings for Aoshi and finally decides to share the road to Kyoto with her.
Rurouni Kenshin Season 2 Staff and Cast
Yuki Komada is the director for Rurouni Kenshin Season 2. He is joined by Yoshitaka Makino, who is working as the assistant director. Hideyuki Kurata and Kaoru Kurosaki have reprised their roles from last season as they’re handling the series composition and script.
