Max Streams 2-Hour Hayao Miyazaki and the Heron Documentary

HBO‘s streaming platform Max (previously HBO Max) just lately started streaming the Hayao Miyazaki and the Heron documentary in regards to the making of Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki‘s The Boy and the Heron anime movie. The 2-hour documentary is accessible with Japanese audio and English and Spanish subtitles.

GKIDS released The Boy and the Heron in a 4K UHD/Blu-ray Disc combo pack, a Blu-ray Disc/DVD combo pack, and a limited-edition Steelbook (with 4K UHD and Blu-ray Disc) launch on July 9. The movie can also be out there for buy on demand on all main digital platforms.

The movie started streaming on Max within the U.S. on September 6.

The movie will stream on Netflix globally exterior of the U.S. and Japan on October 7. The allocation of the license is a part of a brand new deal between Netflix, Goodfellas, and GKIDS. An extra 22 Studio Ghibli titles will proceed to stream globally on Netflix as a part of the deal.
