Live-Action One Piece Series Begins Production on Season 2 – News

Season 2 introduces Baroque Works members


Netflix streamed a brand new video on Monday to report that the second live-action season of Eiichiro Oda‘s One Piece manga has begun manufacturing.


The streamer beforehand announced season 2 is introducing new solid members.

The live-action collection debuted exclusively on Netflix final August. The primary season had eight episodes, versus 10 episodes as initially reported.

The second season will add Joe Tracz (Percy Jackson and the Olympians) as a author, government producer, and co-showrunner. He joins the primary season’s author, government producer, and co-showrunner Matt Owens. Season 1 co-showrunner Steve Maeda will function government producer.

Deadline reviews that filming will start in June with an anticipated 2025 launch date.

Tomorrow Studios, a partnership between producer Marty Adelstein (Jail Break, Teen Wolf) and ITV Studios, produced the primary live-action season. Becky Clements served as an government producer with Maeda.
