Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess Game Launches Playable Demo

CAPCOM revealed in the course of the “CAPCOM NEXT – Summer season 2024 (US)” livestream on Monday that it has launched a playable demo for the Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess game.

The sport will launch on July 19 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Collection X|S, Xbox One, Xbox Sport Go, Home windows, and PC through Steam.

CAPCOM describes the “Kagura motion technique” recreation:

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is a singular Japanese-inspired,
single participant Kagura Motion Technique recreation.

The sport takes place on a mountain coated by defilement.
Through the day, purify the villages and put together your self for sunset.
Through the evening, defend the Maiden towards the hordes of the Seethe.

Repeat the day and evening cycle till you cleanse the mountain of defilement and
return peace to the land.

The gameplay will embrace a mix of motion and technique. CAPCOM is growing the sport on the RE Engine. Microsoft likened the sport to titles akin to Okami and Shinsekai – Into the Depths.

The sport’s story will contain an “epic conflict between the spirit realm and mortal man.” Gamers will get to “fend off foul creatures and lead the Spirit Stone Maiden on her path.”
