Bandai Namco introduced on Tuesday that the Freedom Wars PlayStation Vita sport is getting a remastered model on Nintendo Swap, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC by way of Steam on January 10, 2025 (January 9 in Japan). The corporate streamed an announcement trailer:
Freedom Wars Remastered will function 4K decision, upgraded textures, 60 FPS, an up to date weapon crafting system, and problem settings.
Bandai Namco describes the sport:
Within the distant future, humanity is in a battle to outlive. Air pollution has devastated the planet, and the remnants of humanity are divided amongst city-sized prisons known as Panopticons. So scarce are assets that residing itself is a criminal offense and people born are instantly given one million years of jail time. Dubbed “Sinners” the one possibility aside from awaiting demise in jail is to struggle for freedom with allies for assets, to rescue residents from abduction by rival enemies, or take up arms towards different enemy Sinners.
The unique Freedom Wars debuted for PS Vita in Japan in June 2014 and in North America and Europe in October 2014.
