After a 4-hour delay, Anime Vanguards UPD 1 codes have arrived.
Anime Vanguard codes are set to drop with the long-awaited UPD 1—Cursed Shadow—real soon.
Anime Vanguards is the biggest Roblox tower defense title on the platform. It comes from some of the same team as another: Anime Adventures. New Anime Vanguards codes drop for big updates, patches, and social milestones.

How do I use Anime Vanguards codes?
Redeeming codes in Anime Vanguards couldn’t be easier. It’s a one-button process you can follow below:
- Launch Anime Vanguards on Roblox.
- Look for the Codes icon on the right side of the screen.
- You may need to hide the chat by tapping the TAB button to see it.
- Enter a working code.
- Hit Redeem Code to claim it.
To discourage rerolling in Anime Vanguards, some codes require you to hit level 10 before you can use them. This is to curb account rerolls. We have steps below to help you reach that level fairly quickly.
How to get new Anime Vanguards codes
While the best place for new Anime Vanguards codes is the game’s Discord, the code redeem screen lists a total of six Twitter accounts owned by the developers with the promise that following them will result in new AV codes:
In reality, these six accounts simply repost codes from the Discord to their own audience. There’s every chance that new codes will be tied to them reaching specific Follower goals in the future, however.
We haven’t had a new code be exclusive to one of these accounts yet. It could happen, so it’s worth keeping an eye on them, but so do we: and we’ll list them here as they do.
How to grind to level 10 fast in Anime Vanguards
Repeating the first story stage on the easiest difficulty is the quickest way to reach level 10. You’ll gain a level with every four clears or so.
To speed things up even more, Enable Wave Auto Skip from the settings screen.. With each run taking around 5 minutes, reaching level 10 on a new account should take more than a few hours.
Is there an Anime Vanguards Trello or Wiki link?
There’s still no Anime Vanguards Trello. There is an unofficial Anime Vanguards Wiki that’s receiving some form of affiliation from the game studio. Give that a go if you need more information.

Anime Vanguards UPD 1 releases on Monday, October 21 at 10pm GMT. Use the timer below to see when it’s out in your region.
