My Completely satisfied Marriage Season 2 revealed a teaser visible and trailer together with the employees and extra forged for the sequel set to premiere in January 2025. The anime was previously announced instantly after the primary season ended. The extra forged contains:
- Ryotaro Okiayu as Tadakiyo Kudo
- Kikuko Inoue as Fuyu Kudo
- Yuuya Uchida as Naoshi Usui
Studio Kinema Citrus is returning to animate the second season. Takehiro Kubota is reprising his position as director and is joined by Masayuki Kojima. Ami Sato will proceed to put in writing the script alongside Misato Hashiba, Fuka Ishii, and Momoka Toyoda. Shoko Yasuda returns to design the characters and Evan Name is once more composing the music.

The anime relies on the sunshine novel written by Akumi Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka. The sunshine novel was initially revealed on the Shosetsuka ni Naro web site. Fujimi L Bunko later acquired the title in January 2019. Yen Press is licensing the novel in English and describes the plot as:
Born talentless to a noble household well-known for his or her supernatural skills, Miyo Saimori is compelled into an existence of servitude by her abusive stepmother. When Miyo lastly comes of marriageable age, although, her hopes of being whisked away to a greater life crumble after she discovers her fiancé’s identification: Kiyoka Kudou, a commander apparently so chilly and merciless that his earlier would-be brides all fled inside three days of their engagements.
