Netflix unveiled an announcement video for the tv anime of Yuuto Suzuki‘s Sakamoto Days manga on Thursday. The video pronounces the anime’s January 2025 premiere on Netflix. (The anime can even premiere on tv in Japan in January 2025.)
Tomokazu Sugita stars as Taro Sakamoto. Different forged members include:
- Nobunaga Shimazaki as Shin Asakura, a psychic who can learn folks’s thoughts and Sakamoto’s subordinate when he was an murderer
- Ayane Sakura as Lu Shaotang, a former mafia member and grasp of Tai Chi
- Nao Tōyama as Aoi Sakamoto, Taro Sakamto’s spouse

Suzuki launched the manga in Shueisha‘s Weekly Shonen Jump journal in November 2020. Shueisha printed the 18th compiled e-book quantity on August 2. Suzuki printed a one-shot titled “Sakamoto” in Jump Giga in December 2019.
